Rotana is a powerhouse in Arabic music, but I would say at least seventy percent of its artists are from the Gulf region, some of them mange to crossover to non-Gulf music artists. Not clear to me why son many artists...very few artists from the Gulf go with other labels, but Rotana also has Amr Diab, Najwa Karam, Kathem Al Saher and other big ticket artists.
Rotana is pushing a new artist, and to be frank I like his voice and style, this is Hazzaa everyone, I find his voice to be rich and his style be complex. Though he is young, he packs a lot of talent and experience. The song is a romantic one and it plays like a very passionate poem. Gulf artists keep it real and try not to sing in dialects that they do not master.
This UAE artists offers plenty of thrill as one listens to his new album,he broke out with songs for the UAE and its visionary leaders, but we stuck around for his flavor-filled voice.
