Nancy Ajaj, A Rare Sudanese Talent

Nancy Ajaj is one of those artists that you do not hear anything about unless you come from Sudan or just have interest in under rated African singers. Nancy Ajaj everyone!

The daughter of a local Sudanese singer that was given a great voice and a nice persona took on music and had been making music for some time. She is one of those up and coming talents in Sudan, she makes her country men and women proud. But some are unhappy about the fame she has gotten and instead they report that her old man passed away unhappy with her.

I tell you what, he is a musician and he helped bring her to music, do not care to know much about that. See the loads of comments on her youtube videos to get to know how big of a fan base she has. But to be frank, I feel that producers of Arabic music do not invest in Sudanese talents (there was Jawaher), instead the Arab music producers put their money on Lebanese and Egyptian voices.

Tune in to Sadeeq Malak where the stylish young singer delivers a song in a very distinct Sudanese style.
